The company that installs it is the one that answers when it fails
Evenergia Consulting, S.L.U. installs, operates and maintains charging infrastructure from Barcelona. One contract, one technical contact and one company to call the day a charger stops working.
What we answer for, and where it ends
We do four things to the same network: the initial survey and the installation, the day-to-day operation as a CPO, maintenance with a committed response time, and the management platform that holds it all up. They are not four suppliers to coordinate: they are one contract and one technical contact.
We say so because the usual arrangement in the sector is the opposite. The installer hands over the works and leaves, the software comes from a third party and nobody looks after maintenance until it is needed. When a charger goes down in that setup, the first half hour goes on working out who to call.
And there are things we do not do, which are worth saying too: we do not manufacture chargers (we work with hardware from different manufacturers over the OCPP standard) and we do not sell energy. If a project needs something outside that list, we say so on the first call instead of accepting it and resolving it later.
From Barcelona, wherever the network is
We operate from Barcelona and cover the whole of Spain, southern Europe and Latin America. The whole network is managed from a single platform, so a company with sites in several countries has one panel and one contract, not one per country.
How we verify what we publish
A good part of this site sells nothing: it explains public incentives, regulatory obligations and procedures before the authorities. They are pages somebody decides an investment with, and there an out-of-date figure does more damage than not having the page at all.
That is why regulatory content is written to a rule and not to a judgement call: no data goes in without an official source in front of us. Not a sector guide or a press release, but the official state gazette, the tax agency, the regional government’s own portal or the council by-law that approves it.

Every figure comes from the text of the rule or from the body that processes it. A third-party guide is not a source: it is somebody who copied it from somewhere else, usually a while ago.
- The date it was checked, in plain sight

The incentive and regulation pages carry at the top the day their data was verified and at the foot the sources with links. If it has not been checked again, the date does not move.
- A gap rather than an estimate

When a figure is not verified we mark the gap and say why. We do not round it, we do not infer it from the territory next door and we do not fill it with what everybody says.
- What cannot be evidenced is not published

Penalty amounts that only appear in the press, deadlines that depend on a ruling not yet issued, or calls not checked that same day stay out.
The rule is the same for what suits us and for what does not.
Who signs the technical content
Cristian Mejía Castellano reviews and signs this site’s incentive and certification pages and the blog articles. He is Account & Operations Manager at EVenergia, with five years in electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
He holds the Spanish qualification of Técnico en Electromecánica de Vehículos Automóviles (a vocational qualification in vehicle electromechanics), and he appears with name, role and public profile on every page he signs, including inside its structured data. It is not a decorative byline: if a figure on this site is wrong, there is a specific person to tell.
On the electrical side (what an installation requires, how it is certified, what ITC-BT-52 demands) that training answers for it. On the tax side it does not, and that is why the pages on deductions and incentives say which rule each figure comes from and warn that they are no substitute for an adviser: what we bring there is having gone to the official source, not a tax opinion.
The company that answers
Behind the brand there is a company with a name, a tax ID and a registered address, and it is worth having them in plain sight: whoever contracts an installation signs with it and not with a website.

Questions about EVenergia
What exactly does EVenergia do?
We install charge points for electric vehicles, operate them as a CPO (tariffs, billing, access control, roaming and reporting) and maintain them with continuous monitoring. The platform the network is managed with is ours. We do not manufacture the hardware: we work with chargers from different manufacturers over the OCPP standard.
Are you installers or an energy supplier?
Installers and operators. We do not sell electricity and we are not a supplier: the energy still comes from whichever supplier you already have, and our part is the infrastructure that delivers it to the vehicle and the software that measures and bills it.
Do you work outside Spain?
Yes. We work across southern Europe and Latin America, as well as across Spain. A network spread over several countries is managed from the same platform, with one contract and one technical contact.
Who looks after the charger once it is installed?
We do, if you contract the maintenance. We monitor the status of each point in real time and the commitment is 4 hours response time and 24 hours to resolution. Most incidents are resolved remotely, without anybody having to travel.
Who writes the incentive and regulation pages?
They are reviewed and signed by Cristian Mejía Castellano, Account & Operations Manager at EVenergia. Each one says at the foot which official source each figure comes from and at the top the date it was last checked.
