Cargea solves the problem anybody driving an electric car in Spain has: ten RFID cards in the glovebox and a different app for each operator.
With Cargea, the driver finds available points nearby in real time, filters by connector and power, sees the price before starting, activates the session with a QR code and pays from their phone. One app and one payment method for the whole public network.

A closed network is only used by those who already know it exists. If you open your chargers to the public, they appear in Cargea, in front of drivers who at that moment are looking for somewhere to charge in that area.
It is not one more acquisition channel. It is the difference between a network running at single-digit occupancy and one that fills up.

One invoice for the whole fleet
If you run an electric fleet, the problem is not charging: it is consolidating receipts, reimbursing the drivers who charge at home and knowing how much each vehicle spends.
Cargea brings the three charging scenarios together (at base, at the driver’s home and on the public network) in a single monthly invoice broken down by vehicle and driver. Home charging is recorded and reimbursed automatically, with no receipts.

Frequently asked questions
Is Cargea part of EVenergia?
Yes. Cargea is our app for drivers and has its own website at cargea.com. It is one of the two software products in the house: the management platform is the operator’s tool, and Cargea is the driver’s app.
Do I have to use Cargea if you install for me?
No. A network we install can be managed with our platform, with Cargea or with whichever platform you prefer: the equipment speaks the OCPP standard and we do not tie you to anything. Cargea is an option, not a condition.
Will my private chargers appear in the app?
Only if you decide to open them. A private network in a residential building or a company stays closed by default; listing it in Cargea is your decision and it can be reversed.
What is the difference between Cargea and the management platform?
Cargea is for whoever is charging: finding, starting and paying. The management platform is for whoever operates the network: tariffs, billing, access and reporting. They are different products for different audiences.
Does Cargea work outside Spain?
Yes. Coverage today reaches Spain, Portugal, France, Germany and Italy, among other European countries, and the app is available in five languages.
